These are an awesome blue tomato. Ping-pong ball sized fruit, very crack resistant and very prolific. Great off of the vine or in salads. Thanks for looking!!!
Questions & Comments
They are beautiful. I live in Florida , do they like hot humid and rain?
I'd grow these in containers so, they can be moved into/out of the sunlight and elements. I grew one in the ground and one in a container this season with good results. We had ALOT of rain and heat, too. Except for a 7" deluge of rain (some did crack) they didn't crack, had no blossom-end rot or blight issues. If you're getting lots of seasonal rain regularly you'll want to plant them farther apart in the garden so, you get more air circulation around each plant. Mulch your beds with leaves and mulched grass clippings 4"-6" deep to keep the rain from splashing soil directly on the plant. Tomatoes are very susceptible to soil borne bacterias. You can use horticulture shades for block out the sun, also. Hope that helps you a bit. Thanks for looking!!! Positive Vibrations... Mike
