No I upgraded from 8.1 to windows 10 and looked it up and it said it wasn't compatible with windows 10. I could be wrong. But I am honest and responsible for my auctions and would feel awful if who ever wins and has windows 10 and it didn't work, I appreciate you being a part of my auction couldn't do it without you guys thank you, and everyone eslse!

always looking for good malware protection, there is so much out there, just this morning I got a phishing email that said it was from PayPal, but I know how to spot those and I always forward them to spoof@paypal.com for them to check out.

we have charter, but we use yahoo email, its associated with my ebay, paypal, etc.so it would be a pain to change

I get so many emails every day if I don't stay on top of them I would be buried, my spam gets more than I do in my inbox.

Mine too! I have cox and they give me Mcaffee and the web and email checker so I don't have to worry about my email buy my windows 10 won't let me use my web browser checker.

No I bought this HP note book and it came with it 8.1 I never used it I use the one on the notebook. I looked it up and it is not compatible to windows 10 you have to have the HP 4000x

It gives you a 30 day trial and it works really well. You may have to check the spelling but I pulled it up on bing.

I use Ccleaner and Malwarebytes, they are good for getting rid of bad stuff on your computer. Both me and my boyfriend are disabled so we are on the net alot. we use it for everything just about.

Ya you have to be careful on the net. Also I had a phone call from a guy from India saying he was from windows. He said I had a bad virus and just was on my computer when I called Microsoft they said never answer those calls they don't ever call you. They are just trying to get info from your computer. So be extra careful. If you have any other problems call HP or Microsoft and they will tell you where to go to get a free trial to remove any bad stuff from your computer....

I was not even expecting this notebook, it was a surprise.I still have my pc hooked up too. I am using both. I have so much stuff on the pc, i have had it for about 6 years. So I don't want to bog down the new one with all my other stuff.

I still have my mother board! I kept it because it has a lot of stuff on it too. Our friend added memory too it. But I prefer my notebook but I don't put anything on here except to play games and get on here. I won't do any of the videos or anything to get free credits anymore because one of the videos put a Trojan virus on here and it cost me $200.00 to fix it. But now it runs good. I hate that too because you can get a lot of credits on their sites.

thats what my i have heard, but a mouse makes it easier for me to click on all the check boxes in my email. It does however save a lot of space without the tower.

You are right it is so nice not having a big computer desk and a tower moving around where ever you want to go. I love it and don't miss it at all. But you will get used to it. I promise you will love it and won't want nothing else. But the wireless mice are expensive to have to buy. My husband said what happens if your pad stops working? I said well I will have to spend the 30.00 to get a wireless optical mouse. lol
