hello Jeannete,Well lets see. 1st off the diamonds are only found here in Lake County near Mt. Konoct.It I a resting volcano.The Indian lgend goes that a Indian Chief went to the top of Mt. Konocti,and there he met the moon.The Indian Chief was so hansome,that the moon she fell in love with him.Alas, she could not stay in one place and before she left she began to cry,spilling forth "Moon Tears..So that's preaty much the legend. the Native Americans that I have spoke with say ,that it was considered a smile from the creator and was to be shared as presants to delight little children,elders and a flirting gesture between eligible partners! Now the metapsysical information I have found says that "Moon tears" relieve grief and sadness and shine white light into feelings of depression and worthlessness! wow! what power! They vibrate twards the Goddess and the Moon energies,and the alighn with the heart and crown chakras! they can resister 9 on the Mos hardness scale 10 being an actual diamond. so there you have it that's all I know!!!
