This auction is for 1 Mjölnir, Hammer of Thor pendant that is adorned with actual Authentic Ancient Runes. It can be worn on a cord or chain, or used for jewelry making. This is a replica of the actual amulets worn in ancient times. It is made of “Antiqued Tibetan Silver” Zinc alloy. Contains no Lead!!! It is a nice large size at 1 and 1/2 inches tall and slightly larger than an inch wide. In the Viking age the symbol of Thor's Hammer was popular as an amulet and worn for luck and protection. Mjölnir is depicted in Norse mythology as one of the most fearsome weapons, capable of leveling mountains. About 50 specimens of Mjölnir amulets have been found widely dispersed throughout Scandinavia, dating from the 9th to 11th centuries. The actual Runes on this talisman are authentic and can be translated by those familiar with them.
