Description
The listing, mid 1900s CRACKER JACK prize toy charm indian native american in headdress has ended.
Offered is a 1940s or 1950s Cracker Jack prize charm. This colorful complete plastic charm is shown in profile, both sides.
I plan to offer other vintage Cracker Jack prize charms if there are collectors on Listia and interest is shown.
Questions & Comments
They still have a prize...they are just crappy paper prizes. Sometimes they still do the mini baseball cards. Cracker jacks are expensive enough...they should go back to real plastic toys...the paper stuff is no fun.
Thank you & returned the fan fav. Hope to offer other Cracker Jack charm prizes in weeks to come (stagecoach, bull fighter and bull, pegasus and perhaps others).
Thanks for your comment and interest. Prior to 1997 the tagline for Cracker Jacks was "Candy coated popcorn, peanuts and a prize." Prizes were included from 1912 on (plastic toys, decoder rings, tiny baseball cards). I'll plan to include some other examples in future auctions.
Thanks for commenting. I added a Cracker Jack toy charm stagecoach to another auction listing as well in view of the interest shown for these collectibles. I'll attempt to add others going forward.
I want this so bad. I hope my points show up before the auction ends. My son has a collection of crackerjack prizes. I used to get him one at the antique store every friday nite.
Great that you have contributed to your son's collection. I hope this is worthy. I know the challenge having credits can be as I purchased and then returned them to Listia during the shortfall when I wanted an item and was waiting for sale credits to arrive. Best wishes on your son's collection. I'll try to add additional Cracker Jack prize charms during future weeks.
