All you need to do to enter my drawing is to fan me (if you're already a fan, no problem) and comment on any of my listings telling me what the luckiest thing you have ever found is. It could be money, buried treasure, something meaningful to you.

These drawings are fun, you don't need any credits to win, and they allow all of us Listians to get to know one another better.

Last weeks winner: tracikameka.

fanned. HA! Thinking back, I would have to say 'one' of the luckiest things I found was a $20 bill once in the beer bottles I'd just picked up to recycle and the other time in a garbage can at a Walgreens I had just thrown my receipt into. I had to look a second time at Walgreens to make sure I saw what I thought I saw. Yup. Sitting right on top! Blessed Be and I thanked the Goddess for the extra cash.

I've been watching this and just decided to comment :) That calendula would be great to have! I rarely use storebought medicines and make this great little salve that works better than antibiotic cream. Luckiest thing I've ever found was that recipe a few years back lol. My friends and family now swear by it.

Hi, just fanned you! I find herbs fascinating. I would love to find some yellowroot for a friend. He insists it is not Yellow Dock, Yarrow, or GoldenSeal. I was also looking for an ongoing source for white sage...Just thought I'd mention...I found a $20 bill also; I was SO broke, so it was a lifesaver!!

Ok, so per Listia regulations I am not suppose to consume them. But are these the same herbs that I would buy in a health food store?
+1
Oct 25th, 2011 at 11:35:29 PM PDT by

Yep. Many of them once contained the "organic" label (I purchased Organic for my concoctions when it was available, and non-organic if I could not find it, no clue which is which at this point). I ordered all these online, though I have found a few really great herb shops throughout the years. Not this big of a selection at health food stores, though some are available.

**I SHIP ON THURSDAYS**

Thanks for viewing this listing and (perhaps) entering the comment drawing! I love Listia, and we're having a great time cleaning out the RV by listing great items on here and turning them into gift certificates for yummy food on our adventures.

Who are we? We're a family of 4 (mom, dad, 12 yr old boy, 10 yr old girl...and don't forget Old Cat and Young Cat) on the adventure of a life-time: experiencing America in our RV. We never know where we're going to be, or why, but we're going to have fun (and troubles) along the way. Fan us and check our listings weekly for updates on our journey.

This week, after our failed pan peddler experiment, (that is, selling pans, not panhandling, lol) we ended up buying a storage unit at an auction to see what treasures were inside! Let me tell you, this thing is simultaneously fun and disgusting. The amount of "adult movies" we've found are outrageous! And we found (3) unused postal money orders for $950 each. Too bad they were fake! We've dumped a lot of trash but are selling everything which will take a while. We rented a unit here as well so we can leave the area to explore, come back in a couple weeks and then get another unit to go through! Fun!

The luckiest thing I ever found was this post! Ha! Seriously, though. I'm a stay-at-home mom of soon to be five kids. My first home water birth is the end of January and I could use some of these herbs to prepare for the arrival of my little bundle of joy. The midwife recommended a number of herbs of this list for baby and me! How cool!

I would have loved to do a home birth. I was clueless the first birth, with my mom who is a nurse and thinks modern medicine is "all that" the second birth, and the last 4 kids were all surrogate babies so their parents were more comfortable in a hospital setting....but by the time I had the twins (birth #3) I KNEW what I would "allow" during a delivery and what I would not, and by golly, I totally got my way. Pregnancy needs to stop being treated as a disease and start treated as a beautiful experience. (Sorry, you touched on one of my button topics, lol)

My wife just loves your mix of herbs, we have a big garden and she picks and creates her blend of oils and medicinals also spices. The Luckiest thing I believe i or acctually God found is my wife Suez, while writing for a biker magazine in Fl. I was sent to Starke Bikefest . While setting campsite behind Vendor row, Suez was set up with her creations booth right behind me. Fate should have it, I found my soulmate for life : ) Know if that Luck then must be Carma and Fate!

When I was 25 now 52 was asked by my grandfather to clean out the shed he was having to go to a nursing home. He told me to make sure to get all the sewing and quilting thing for sure. Mine you these thing were trunks from the 1940's so I did as I was told. I got to the quilting box and there in a tin can of buttons, needles and you name it was a ring. Well to make a long story short it was my g-g-g-g grandmothers wedding ring. She was native American and that was a shock to me I did not know. After that I started checking into our family line and sure enough there are pictures of her and my grandfather and she has the ring on. Everyone of my sisters have wore it when they got married but I always get it back. Now it is being pasted to my daughter and she is to give it to my granddaughter when she gets married. I have had it reshanked but that is all. I ware it and love my grandfather for making sure I got it.

The best thing i've found, besides my fiance, is listia! There's so much great stuff and so many wonderful people! I've been "short of funds" for a long time now and I just started getting back into wicca. I never could have afforded to buy all of the great books and supplies that I have got for free (or nearly free) from this great site! Also, thank you for the resource (herb mentor) as I have been looking for reliable sources of information on that. You never know if you're getting good information when you're dealing with random search results. If you know of any free sites that are good please let me know! BB!
