Well, Dear Sir, this Texas Gal and yes, a Country Music Lover...) is transplanted in Northern Idaho in the mountains about 45+ miles SE and 3300 ft up from Lewiston Idaho, which borders Washington State, just above the Wa, Or, and Id junction... right along the Mighty Snake River where it meets the Clearwater River... I am 45+ miles SE of Lewiston, just outside of the Nez Perce Nat'l Forest, and am about 17 miles NE of Winchester Lake State Park...

G'Mornin GOLDNSTAR... I am not 100% sure when this came out, but the disc says @2007 Microsoft... And wouldn't free power be AWESOME!! When you figure out how to do that, let me know!! HeeHee!! This may have been addressed already, but I just wanted to let you know (maybe this changed?) The full version can only be added to a "new" computer. If you already have an OS (another version of windows) you have to wipe it before installing this. I came across this problem when I wanted to install windows 2000 (eons ago) to my computer. I could only find the full version, and they told me that I couldn't put it on a computer with an OS already on it. It was for a computer that had no prior programs. Well, I fooled them. I bought the full version, wiped my computer hard drive (of course it had DOS back then) and reprogrammed it with the full version I bought. Like I said, this could have changed, since they changed computers so much. The "Guru" should know! LOL I had to rebuild my computer from nothing because I forgot to save the system files in DOS. OOPS. Ok....now that I have dated myself, I will let you get back to it!!! Have fun everyone and happy bidding!!!

Not True with the computer OS today. The only OS since windows 98 that you had to format your hard drive before installing another OS was Windows ME. Newer versions (Windows 2000, Windows XP, Vista, and Win 7) you do not have to format first. Simply boot to the OS you want to install and follow the 'wizard'. This version of Vista will give you the option to upgrade or 'fresh install'.

As far as what I can find on the net, it is a 32 bit system... but don't quote me on that, as I am not a computer guru... Please google your computer info and find it for yourself, just to be sure, or you can also check in your system, but I am not even sure how you do that. My fiance' is the computer whiz here but he is not available at the moment... Good Luck..

yes it is a 32bit OS so if i switch OS to vista ultimate 32-bit will it wipe out all data and info from my compaq computer and start all over from scratch cause that is what i want. I bought this computer from a pawn shop and it had previous owners info on it and now it is running really slow? Will it speed up my computer, would reinstalling the OS be the best way to speed it up? I just have never done this before and i wanna make sure before i bid everything that it will improve my computer. Sorry for all the questions

Do you know how much RAM your computer has? And what the max is it can hold?? By installing this disc, it CAN wipe out the other info, if you know how to do it... If you win, maybe my 'guru' can go thru it with you... From what I understand, Ultimate gives you more features and better usage of those features, but you may need to add more memory, if possible, to get the best speed your computer can offer... message me on my profile page if ya have more questions, and I'll see what I can help you with...

If your compaq computer already has Vista Home Premium on it, and your compaq is a 32-bit system, then YES you can use it... If it is a 64-bit system, then NO, as this disc is for a 32-bit system ONLY! Vista Ultimate IS Better than Home Premium. It has more features...

great auction. Note: One COA/Key/License per computer. This can only be used on one computer. If you have this disc and a few COA/License/Keys you may be able to use it to install but only 1 Key per PC/Laptop. Just thought I would note that.
