"hosehead" or "hoser" are terms referring to fellow Candians by Bob and Doug, The MacKenzie Brothers ,who hosted "The Great White North" , a recurring skit on Second City Television in the 80's (Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas). The same actors played these roles in the 1983 film "Strange Brew."
I hope you were not offended. It is really a term of endearment.

i think its suitable for any age, it just uses bigger font and less complicated words basically:)
