The listing, 7 Gemstone Chakra Necklace and Earrings Set with Pentacles **Pagan/Wiccan** has ended.

This set was handmade by me using genuine gemstone nuggets and lead free Tibetan Silver pentagram charms. The stones are Garnet, Amber, Citrine, Peridot, Blue Apatite, Amethyst, and clear Quartz. The earwires and 20 inch chain are Sterling silver plated.

The colors of these stones represent the 7 main Chakras. Red for the Root Chakra (Garnet), orange for the Sacral Chakra (Amber), Yellow for the Solar Plexus Chakra (Citrine), Green for the Heart Chakra (Peridot), blue for the Throat Chakra (Blue Apatite), purple/indigo for the Third Eye Chakra (Amethyst), and clear/white for the Crown Chakra (Quartz).

The pentacle (or pentagram) is a very old symbol, dating back thousands of years. It has been used by many different cultures and religions over the millennia. It was even used by Christianity at one point to represent the 5 wounds of Christ.
It modern times it has been adopted by the Wiccan/Neo Pagan movement as a banner symbol (kind of like what the cross is to Christianity).
In this incarnation, the pentacle has come to represent 5 elements: earth, air, fire, water, and spirit. Spirit is at the apex above all. For this reason it is favored by Wiccans to use/have present in circle when calling the quarters.

This is just a quick overview, the history and uses of the 5-pointed star is long and varied and I encourage all that are interested to research it for themselves, as it is an interesting and worthwhile subject!
