Im not sure. I've never tried it. From the comment below it says glitter in a gel. On the tube, it says black. Maybe...black glitter in a clear gel?

from what i can find out, it's glitter in a gel. you put it on over your regular masara if you want the black, or by itself for simple shimmer. one page i saw, the woman put some on her fingertip n dabbed it on lid below crease over some eyeshadow, and used hair dryer to dry it quickly. looked neat!
