Description

The listing, Blue Oyster Mushroom Plugs Mycelium Coat Natural Bark On Hardwood has ended.

20 PC Hardwood Plugs fully coated with blue oyster mushroom seed spawn, Blue oyster mushrooms are know for its medicinal abilities with cancer and lower blood pressure , I encourage those interested for its medicinal ability to research its many healing abilities. Listing does not include any mushrooms only seed spawn on hardwood , Plugs are natural hand cut bark on ,Plugs in pictures are in early stages of mycelium growth. will be fully coated in mycelium upon delivery & ready to use. For those who don't know what mushroom root looks like its a white coating that can be seen In picture 4 , it is important to use logs that are fresh cut atleast 1 mth old but not older than 3 mths or it will be most likely already inhabited by another mushrooms root, & log should come from a live hardwood tree [ oak , or maple is best, or even hickory or ash will work nicely. But plugs can be added to boiled sterile straw but straw will only produce 1 -3 small batches of mushrooms. Size of plugs are 1 inch to 2 inches. and approx. 1/8 '' thick to 3/8'' thick. A stump or large log can produce mushrooms for years depending on size and hardness of wood log. No bees wax is included. Simply drill holes in log insert mushroom plugs into holes and keep log slightly damp in dark place for 2-3 mths allowing mushroom root to travel threw out entire log, then allow log to become soaked with water - I simple put log out on a day with steady rain all day or even 2 days in the rain is best, than set log in well shaded area keep moist and in 1-2 weeks if log is ready to sprout it will begin growing mushrooms, this can be repeated over and over until log is rotted and has no more nutrition left to grow mushrooms ...I ship USPS 1st class. questions are welcome ,
