This is a 6 diamond gold plated sterling silver band. I got this off Listia and was told it was real diamonds. I have no reason to think there not. VERY nice ring size 7. It has hearts along both sides.

could you take it to a local jeweler and ask them to test the stones (I don't know if it costs anything or not)

No, I cant drive because of medication I am on. My husband is wonderful running to the PO and everything that he already does for me. I wont even ask him to do that. sorry.
The diamonds are very small and its set in sterling so there was no need for the owner to lie to me about the diamonds being real. . If they were gonna use diamond wanna be's I'm sure they would have made them bigger.
Sorry , I have to pick my errands carefully he only has so much running time.

What a great hubby! I was just curious because diamonds aren't normally set in sterling sliver (unless its tiffany's lol)

Yes he is amazing. And actually they are now. I bought a 2 ct diamond ring for my mom for mothers day and it was in sterling. I bought it from one of the shopping channels. Like you I would never have thought I would find diamonds in sterling but, now its done all the time..

I have looked at these thru the pictures and believe them to be diamond chips as you can see they are very tiny inside the silver colored square settings within each little section of the band,so i would say they are diamond chips definately. hope this helps you out.

Diamonds are quite often set in sterling. I gave away aa sterling diamond pendant from jareds on here. Not just tiffanys does diamonds n sterling. Pretty ring
