Description

The listing, Native Inspired Beaded Deer Bracelet has ended.

Here is another one of my bracelets that I made. I took pics of the stages of making this bracelet and added a lil design at the edges this time. It measures 1 1/2" wide and 5" long (beaded area only) and about 13" with the lace. I do hope you enjoy my handmade items and if you have any questions please feel free to ask. Good luck to everyone and happy bidding. ^-^

Love the picture stages of your work. How did you do the ends?

Thank you, I first crimped 4 strings together that gave me 6 groups of string, then I grouped them in 2's and braided them. Put a knot at the end and I'm done. I usually sew these on a leather backing and add a leather lace for the ties but I thought this would save me time and it actually worked out great. Thank you for asking.

I just bid on this one. I have a nephew who loves Native American designs. Is this large enough for his wrist? He's "regular" size.

This bracelet is 13" long from one end of the ties to the other. You would need to take a measuring tape and measure his wrist to see if it would fit. If not, just let me know and I will do my best to make a longer one of the same design as this one or another wolf one.

Can you do these in a medallion style? with leather backs? I need a couple for an experiment I am doing with native headress

It will take some time to do it. Circlular beaded is what you are looking for right? I have done some hair ties that way with porqupine quils. Will contact you when I am done.

How about a turtle , one suitable for a male of small build:) !!

That would require peyote stitch... =/ Haven't done that in a while. I will see if I can work one in that will look decent. I will do my best. Got to go and start my yard sale this lovely morning and will be working on that choker with flowers. Talk to you soon. ^-^

Actually, once you get the hang of it it doesn't take too long. New designs take me a bit longer because of the counting the beads to be sure that they are set in the right place.
