If you enjoyed The Beans of Egypt Maine by Carolyn Chute, you might recall the name of Lucien Letourneau. In this continuing saga of Egypt Maine Lucien takes a starring role. He has had an accident and much of his head has been replaced with metal.

Lucien owns two salvage yards, one for the salvage of auto parts and the other is for the salvage of people. It is the latter that has the Selectmen of Egypt Maine in a dither. They claim it is turning Egypt into a slum.

Book is soft cover. In really good condition - there is a date stamped on the bottom but otherwise no marks.
