Flat-rate is often the best "bang for the buck" when it comes to shipping fabric. People don't realize just how heavy fabric is to ship, unlike books which can qualify for the cheaper media mail rate (as they are heavy, too). And often, priority may end up being cheaper than parcel post, depending on weight, size, and zip codes. Good auction!

LOL I will be listing a few boxes of nothing but satin N satin type material after this one ends. I also have a box of mesh N really fine see through material. Keep a look out for them. FYI only one box of mesh, N 3 boxes of stain N satin type material. Please note these are not in flat rate boxes yet so the number of boxes may go up. Uncertain right now.

Is this from smoke free, pet free home?

Nov 7th, 2011 at 12:40:07 AM PST by

Smoke free yes, pet free no. These have been stored up in my attic before I got pets. So there should not be any pet hair on them. Also I have a none shedding dog so no pet dander there. TY for the ask.

Hi yes everything pictured fits inside 3 large flat rate boxes N 1 medium flat rate box. As seen in photo number 1 there is a pillow under the pile of material so that is not included or stuffed inside these boxes. Hope this helps. TY for the ask.

It is mostly a mix of sizes. Like I mentioned the are some size nice sizes in the lot. I only measure a couple piece to give everyone an idea, how ever I did not measure some of the smaller pieces. If ya like I can pull them out of the boxes N measure some of the smaller ones. let me know. Tks for the ask.

Had to stop by and say GREAT Auction! Sigh* I'm tired of fabric...LOL...err, well, I should say I'm tired of cutting fabric! I'm liking Auctions that have it all pre-cut for me into squares :) Guess I'm a little lazy in that dept. I'm getting rid of all my pieces as well on here...Winter is setting in here slowly in Michigan so it's soon to be time to sew and knit! Again, great Auction - you will definitely make someone very happy! :) Fanned ya! :D

LOL I have some squares already cut from a quit I was making I had cut far to many and I had mom pick out how she want her quilt to look like. They are out in the cottage as soon as I find them again I will be listing them as the mom whom I was going to make this for passed away in 2007. I still have not finished my quilt as I have Adult ADD and can not sit that long on any one item. I have 6 projects going but will be complete some time before I pass away. LOL As soon as my new sewing machine gets here I will list this one special item I have been working steady on finishing just for my fans here on listia. Nope not going to tell ya either. LOL Just have to wait and see.

Great auction. Any way that it can ship parcel post instead of priority flat? Might be cheaper.

Yes it would be for the receiver. I would have to buy 4 boxes which cost $4.96 each.. If I buy the boxes just to save the winner $1.98 on one box, $2.40 each on two boxes then $1.20 on the smaller box that saves the winner $5.58 N I will be out $19.84. That is just for the boxes alone. But thanks for the info. I did check it all out before I replied back to LenoraZiobro. Flat rate is cheaper! TY

The auction says "local pickup only" -- I'm guessing that's a mistake?

Oct 29th, 2011 at 7:43:11 AM PDT by

No mam is right is for local pick-up. If someone wants this to be shipped then they will have to pay for shipping as ya can see above the shipping will cost over $50. N being on SS I just can not afford to ship this material. All material is in a flat rate box so the shipping cost is a fixed price from USPS. I will change the shipping info.

Can you get a shipping cost to 32922?
Oct 27th, 2011 at 11:20:53 AM PDT by
Original
All flat rtae boxes cost the same no mater the distance N weight up to but not over the postal service limit. If shipping is purchased over the internet the cost per box on the large is $14.20 x 3 or post office visit of $14.95 x 3 N for the medium purchase over internet is $10.50 or post office visit of $10.95. So for all boxes to be shipped using internet purchase is $53.10 includes DC for free if purchased over internet or post office visit will be $59.00 Hope this helps TY for the ask
