IMPORTANT NOTE: This is the last time I will list this laptop. You can make an offer on the GIN, but if this listing ends without a winner, it will NEVER be listed again! So this is your last shot at it, if you really want it.

IMPORTANT READ: Everyone here is the link to the actual laptop where you can see for yourself it's actual $324.99 free shipping with tax. So you'd pay about $350 at least. Not under $300 like some person was saying. And I expect you guys to make an offer on the laptop. There's your proper research

To be honest it was. If you didn't ask you would've had a 0% of winning this listing. At least you made an offer, at least you tried. It never hurts to ask. Thanks!

Credits. Don't have a lot of cash. Been looking for a laptop for months for my college classes. And every I find one on here I get scammed. I've been scammed 3 times from 3 different sellers on here in the past month. But I keep trying. Lol

That is most likely because you are bidding on listings from unverified and/or no-feedback users. You don't have to worry with me. Take a look at my recent completed listings. People are satisfied with my shipping, and I always send an item that someone wins. Yeah you'd need a laptop or iPad of some sort if you're in college. Trust me I understand. If you don't have enough credits, remember you can always make credits by completing offers and doing surveys. I know tons of users who have already made over 500,000 credits doing surveys. I myself made over 100,000 credits. It may be time consuming but if you want to get this laptop completely FREE, that's definitely the way to go. Where there's a will, there's a way! Thanks!

Your welcome and that other guy is gonna need a lot of luck for that much I couldn't sell my PS3 for that much

The guys name is freestuffforyou, people are going to buy it from him and get ripped off just because he's him. Funny you say that, I'm posting my PS3 system today on this site, would love to get a good amount for it. Feel free to look at it once it's up, and if you have any more suggestions that would be great :)

Credits to cash, for what you are asking equals roughly about $600 for a laptop that can bought NEW for under $300. There are people who want what they want and are willing to pay. Good luck....

Not everyone buys credits, and everyone knows the value of credits do not measure compared to actual cash or Amazon. 1,000,000 credits on Listia gets you $100 on Amazon (which is the closest thing to actual cash that this site can offer). But it may cost $160 in cash to buy 1,000,000 credits. That;s a huge discrepancy. That's a gap the separates the value of Amazon over credits. I'm not asking for $600. I don't buy credits. My price is at $350 on Amazon, and that is because I expect people to try to low-ball me. Nobody has yet even offered me 2 million credits. The laptop itself on Amazon (where it is the CHEAPEST) cost 324.99 plus tax. Do you want a link or something to show you? Mine is the one with the N2840 processor, NOT the $250 laptop that looks just like mine with the N2830 processor. Just need to clear that up. It's not under $300 dollars. Do your research properly if you are going to provide information. I'm giving a deal if you ask me. I EXPECT PEOPLE TO MAKE AN OFFER. I also don't understand why everyone is bashing me about my price when you have other users on here listing Beats for 4,500,000 credits, but no one tells people like them anything. Really hurts my feelings :(

There is an asterisk by Mint Condition in the title but I don't see the asterisk w an explanation below. What's the asterisk in the title refer to? Has it been used? I see you mention something about a reset in your description...
Jan 3rd, 2016 at 12:43:29 PM PST by
Original
The asterisk means nothing I just use it to emphasize the word "mint" rather than have it in all capital letters. It's like a decoration like if I put _= Mint=_ or |Mint|. Meaningless decoration to attract someones eye. If you consider a laptop that's out of box that's been used for no more than an hour a used laptop. Than I guess you could call it used. It's just sitting here collecting dust, I need it gone. Waiting for someone to offer me more than 2 million credits, sadly I haven't even got an offer for that. I guess everyone's going to just let it slip away or no-one wants it because I'm getting tired of just listing it and not seeing it sell. I'm going to put it on Craigslist if it doesn't sell, then it'll be gone for good. Thanks for the question!
Jan 3rd, 2016 at 12:51:27 PM PST by
Original
Ah, I see. You may want to consider adding an asterisk in front of the word Mint to eliminate confusion and to emphasize the phrase *mint condition* instead..Cos the first few time I saw this listing, I figured that meant that it wasn't really mint but that there should be fine print somewhere

Good luck with the listing! And have a happy new year!:)

I've seen that you have referenced the "closest" way to get cash value for credits, which is actually not accurate. Many people don't realize yet, but listia now has an option to sell your credits for real money, so gift cards are not the determining factor in assuming credit value. You can actually get an exact dollar amount that you can sell a particular amount of credits for (sent to you via PayPal) at any given time. Though the value "fluctuates" since people can actually choose their selling price, it is based on the most recent actual sell value...basically what the most recent sellers have gotten for their credits.

You cannot do this through the app, only through the website.

I don't have a PayPal account and don't want one, that's why my listings are always free shipping. I don't want cash, I need Amazon balance. My reference is just to compare the different currencies, and which ones are valued more than others. I was probably one of the first people to notice the "sell credits" feature listia has added. But if I sold my credits for cash, that cash would be used to buy Amazon balance. So I'm just cutting out the middlemen and selling this laptop for an appropriate price based on what Amazon costs on this site. But I appreciate you trying to explain something to me. Thanks!

Just to make a suggestion what don't you put a starting bid on it cause I'm selling my HP mini and I put a 499 starting bid & a 900,000 G.I.N and people seem to want to bid on it then use the G.I.N

Another Listian has the same laptop listed with a 3,333,333 GIN. And my laptop is a newer model than his. I think my pricing is pretty fair, it's certainly not 3,333,333 credits. Thanks for the suggestion!

Is it a touchscreen, does it sport a back-lit keyboard and is it bluetooth enabled?
Jan 8th, 2016 at 8:12:44 AM PST by

No it's not touchscreen, the keyboard is not back-lit but I've found that even in pitch black darkness the screen is more than bright enough to provide light to make the keyboard visible. I don't think it has bluetooth but there are simple usb bluetooth adapters you can get from Amazon. Thanks for the questions!

How many credits would you take for the laptop? The minimum I mean
Dec 26th, 2015 at 2:36:41 PM PST by
Original
It would be a lot more than 40,000 unfortunately, but as advice to you. Human being to human being, if it is a laptop hat you really need. Than I suggest you rent one. Maybe a really nice one like a MacBook Pro. It's only $30 a month in most places, and since you are in college you need one. You'd also be saving a ton of cash, because if you're in college for a few moths until the semester ends. You'd be spending less than $200 on a more than $1200 laptop. Thanks!
Dec 26th, 2015 at 2:40:37 PM PST by
Original
Well the sellers ask for shipping. I give them shipping. Then they block me on here and never send the item lol. How many credits would you accept for the laptop? All I have right now is 40,000. I've gotten this many from doing offers. That's how I get all my credits. It is definitely time consuming.
Dec 26th, 2015 at 2:17:15 PM PST by

Leave those people alone. They will only take your money for shipment (usually via PayPal) and Listia will be able to do nothing about it.
