A Few Handy Definitions

BULLION- Pure form of precious metal (gold, silver, palladium or platinum) in the form of bars or ingots, at least 99.5% pure.
BULLION COINS- Legal tender, not intended for general circulation; made for the purpose of investing in precious metals, at least 99.5% pure.
CLAD- Manufacturing method; does not indicate content.
Clad coins consist of outer layers of one metal bonded to a core of a different metal.
GRAIN- 15.43 grains = 1 gram
GRAM- 31.1 grams = 1 troy ounce
MAGNET TEST- Only proves an item is NOT precious metal.
Will not prove an item IS precious metal; most metals (aluminum, copper, lead, nickel, zinc, gold, silver) aren't magnetic.
Ferromagnetism occurs in very few substances; common ones are iron, nickel, cobalt, & certain rare earth metals (gadolinium, neodymium & samarium).
MILLS- Misused by unscrupulous sellers to sell plated items to the unwary- supposed to infer plating thickness.
PLATED- A very thin layer of metal deposited on the surface of another metal.
ROLLED/FILLED GOLD- A sheet of gold applied to a base metal, thicker than gold plating- gold content must be at least 1/20th total weight of item.
TROY- Weight system customarily used for precious metals. There are 12 troy ounces/troy pound rather than 16 ounces/pound in the avoirdupois system.

I know that some people break the rules; that does not make it correct.

Here is the pertinent info:

I had to learn this the hard way.
There are other ways to receive bullion in Canada...however, it is against USPS rules to ship bullion to Canada- and I only ship using USPS.
You can buy this same bar on eBay for around $25, and sellers will gladly ship to Canada if you pay the shipping.

Any chance you could ship this to canada please? Shipping should only be about $6 with tracking for such a small item

If it were a coin it would be possible, but it is illegal to ship bullion to Canada...customs would simply confiscate it.
