Questions & Comments
Great auction! Is that free shipping with 1,000 or 10,000? (just in case there was a typo) Thanks :)
No typo .. that is 10,000 FYI ~~ Listia's Cash Value of one [1] Credit is equivalent to 1/100th of a cent = calculation of cash value of items is difficult and complex to accomplish on this basis. However, it is a Listia Fact that everyone should be aware of . . . So, when you think that Sellers are asking what you might think is a 'high' number, it's not in actuality high.
The shipping for this auction is 'minimal' ~~~ I ship the least costly way - which I find to be 1st Class Mail and, i send it with Delivery Confirmation. Other than those who offer totally free auctions, I would believe that my shipping 'charges' are about the lowest I've seen around. IF I could free ship then, I would. However, I am not always able to do that. Mid-November through December, I would hope that I can offer free shipping. Many people don't seem to realize that whatever a Seller is offering did COST real $$ to the Seller and sometimes we aren't able to pay to ship on top of the initial cost for the item[s]. off my soapbox now ...
I really think that Listia should allow a reserve amount, you can win or lose on here and I have things that I would love to put on here but wont because of the chance that you wont get the credits that you should get for the item. The only thing free about Listia is your not getting charged to auction your things :)
yupper ~~~ I completely agree. And, need to be able to also start auctions at credits at different intervals such as: above 100 credits up to maybe 1000 - at least .... or 5000. Based on fact that Listia's valuation of credits per dollar amount is 1 Credit = 1/100th ... yup, one-one hundreth of a CENT!
Actually, when I ship through paypal, payment is made by me to United States Postal Service. I have choice of using USPS or I think the other is Fed Ex ... hmmm. now I don't even recall cause I never use 'the other one' ... could be that it is UPS. I believe that's correct.
I prefer being paid for shipping through paypal rather than a postal money order. However, I am flexible and willing to work with the Winner to reach an amicable solution for collecting shipping even if it's in FOREVER STAMPS!
