No...but can be refilled. It has the snap back top. I love the design, but I'm bias.

this needs to say zippo style lighter it is not a zippo you can tell by the holes in the insert and the way the corners are squared on lid

I'm sorry, by zippo I meant you can refill the lighter again and again. Sorry for the confusion. I like this lighter better than a zippo because of the description, but that's just me.
