Coming into your garden like a sweet dream, Cosmos Daydream are huge annual flowering plants that grow to an impressive height of 3 feet, and bear an abundance of colorful blooms in shades of pink and white. The leaves are feather-like and add an interesting element to any garden.

Cosmos is very drought tolerant and requires very little maintenance. This plant makes excellent backdrop flowers, and thrives in full sun. Cosmos Daydream is also ideal for unstructured garden patches, meadows and wildflower gardens. Cosmos loves to be neglected, perfect for the busy or weekend gardener. I find these don best when sown into the ground. They may be started early indoors 6- 8 weeks before your last frost.
Cosmos is very hardy and can be planted from October through December in warmer climates for early spring blooms. I am in zone seven so I have to wait until spring.
Easily save your seeds in the fall and you will have lots to share and grow in other places.
