Description

The listing, OMG! Tiered Coin Collection Listing starting with a 1943 Steel Penny has ended.

This listing is for ONE 1943 STEEL PENNY.
This is my first tiered auction and I want to make it a GOOD one for my listia friends!
Starting at only 1 lonely little credit...
For every 100 credits over 900 I’ll add a wheat back cent. If bidding goes over 1500 I’ll add a buffalo nickel (1913-1938) and the wheaties. If bidding goes over 2000 I’ll add a Liberty Head V nickel (1883-1913) plus the Buffalo and the Wheaties. If bidding goes over 2500 I’ll add a Mercury dime (1916-1945) plus the V nickel, Buffalo, and the Wheaties.
For example:
999 credits =the steel cent only
1000 credits =the steel cent and one wheatie
1500 credits =the steel cent , six wheaties, and one buffalo nickel
2000 credits =the steel cent, eleven wheaties, one buffalo nickel, and one liberty V nickel
2500 credits =the steel cent, sixteen wheaties, one buffalo nickel, one liberty V nickel, and one mercury dime (that’s 20 coins!)
At 5000 credits I’ll DOUBLE the coins making it =TWO steel cents, 82 wheaties, TWO buffalos, and TWO mercury dimes (88 coins!!!)
I’ll double it again at 10000 credits making it a total of 4 steel cents, 264 wheaties, 4 buffalos, 4 mercury dimes, and I’ll throw in something special as a bonus! That’s 276 coins plus the bonus! (I have hundreds of coins dating back to 400 BC, some are ancient, foreign, silver, GOLD, civil war tokens, colonial era, rare, uncirculated, some are professionally graded and have authenticity certificates, etc) This should be VERY interesting!
Here’s where it gets REALLY good. At 10001 credits and over I’ll just add whatever I feel like (less pennies and more from the bonus stash sound good?) Hint: Positive comments and new fans make me feel especially generous! And I’ll add multiple coins several times a day! Watch for my comments to see what’s new! Shipping is free! I’ll even insure the package and add tracking if this grows as spectacularly as I think it will!
Someone is going to get an instant collection!
GOOD LUCK BIDDING!

I've never done anything like this before but it seems like a better idea than listing everything one at a time. I fanned you!

Wana make it a good auction ? Add a wheat penny for every 25 points. Then it will be featured as well.

I thought about that, but I've only got about 450 pennies and I didn't want to run out before this is over. I'll probably throw the rest in anyway so either way the winner is going to have more wheat pennies then he/she knows what to do with!

To be honest...I haven't looked up any current values in years. That's one of the reasons I'm finding new homes for my coins. I've packed and moved them and stored them but I havent enjoyed owning them in a long time.

I have several hundred wheat pennies but I didnt want to run out if this auction goes too high. That's kind of like writing a check if you're not sure the moneys there to back it up. That's why I stopped the pennies at 10,000 and changed it to whatever I feel like putting in. As I stated in an earlier reply I'll probably throw in the remaining pennies before it's over. So actually every penny I have is going in this if the credits go high enough. Thanks for commenting and I fanned you!
