Here you see a girl sitting on a bench reading a book. She was inspired by Susan Lordi's mother who was a teacher and had a lifetime interest in reading and learning. The figurine was cast from resin using the original sculpture by Susan Lordi. Then the figure was hand-painted. There are no facial features. Expression is revealed through gestures only. She is 4.5" tall and 3.5 " across. The card that accompanies her reads, " A lifelong love of learning."She comes new in the original box with the styrofoam packing, although that is a little crumbled on the edges, because I opened it to look at the figure. It is from a smoke-free, pet-free home. It would be great as a graduation gift, or it could join a Willow Tree collection in your home.
