Description

The listing, The Double Wager has ended.

"The Double Wager" is a Regency Romance book written by Mary Balogh. It is a delightful used paperback historical novel that is so much fun reading! I love this author's sense of humor. This is a clean book. Also, I should mention that the cover and spine do have some creases.

If you want to GIN this item, please write me with a reasonable offer before anyone bids. After the first bid, I can not add a GIN. Sorry,, if someone wants to GIN this item, I might not be able to mail this item for a few days especially as our weather is getting bad. I refuse to drive on icy roads.

Here's a little bit about what the back of the book says:

Henry was no gentleman. In fact, Henry was not a man at all! Henry was a young lady, if you could call any female a lady who refused to go by her proper name of Henrietta but preferred her most unsuitable tomboyish nickname.

But now Henry had to be even more than a lady. She had to become a wife---to the handsomest, most sought-after worldly and bored lord in London, the Duke of Eversleigh. For Henry had wagered her most precious possession that she would achieve this seemingly impossible goal, and she dreaded what would happen if she lost...just as she feared what might occur if she won...the double wager!

Sorry, the minimum for listing a GIN is 2000. You can try to win it for that. But, seriously, even if I could list, I couldn't get out on the roads and mail it for several days due to the icy roads.

I'll have to think about the offer. Thanks! But, I'm going to check weather conditions for awhile. Thank you though.

I should explain that Listia itself set the minimum GIN any seller can put up is 2000 points. Remember, the seller must also pay for the Listia GIN fee, any Listia fee for listing (if above 499 points), and shipping if they say they'll ship free. But, since you were kind enough to ask, I will check to see if you have any auctions.

i'm still relatively new to this thing. I do have some listings of gaming cards my daughter gave me to help me get points so I can get some books. I hope you will find you are able to accept my offer. Thanks for your tine and consideration.

Welcome! And, we'll see. We have 5 inches of ice and snow out there now and my husband says that the roads are the worst he's ever seen them since we've moved here. And, I do list books when I can but don't really make anything off them since I don't ask for shipping and handling. I did see the cards, but we don't collect cards any more. We did when our kids were little though. Good luck on here!
