No, Mason means you are a Member of the Freemasonry secret society. The Symbol on the Hat Is a Compass and Level. These all has to do with the FreeMason Brotherhood. Which is a Mens secret fraternity/society. Normally if you are not a Freemason and part of the brotherhood you should not wear this hat, And even those of us who are Freemasons have to earn the right by becoming a 'MasterMason' of the 3rd degree before they have the privilege to wear any riing,hat,car sticker etc with the Freemason symbols on it..

As i said u should really know and be a member of the Freemason's to even wear this hat.

If you would like to know more about the Freemason's feel free to google and read about our history and what we stand for. We are not a Religion or a College Fraternity , Freemasonry has been around for a VERY VERY long time. at LEAST 14 of our presidents are known Freemasons. Pres.Bush was a Skull n bones Member which is located on the campus at YALE.. Hope that clears up the questions about what this hat means.

Also the G in the middle of the hat can stand for a few things ,The most used are for
God and Geometry, Although you do not have to have any certain religion to become a Freemason you must believe in a Grand Creator, Or another name used The Grand Architect.
