Description

The listing, Gold bracelet. has ended.

7" gold bracelet. Stamp is 14k Italy. I'm not sure if it is solid gold or gold plated. It is quite old and needs a polishing. It is a very sturdy bracelet in excellent condition.
Questions & Comments

14k or 585 is not plated gold...its 58.5 % gold, mixed with other metals..gold is too soft to be used in pure form...another way to tell..look at the lobster clasp, and find the piece that hinges open and closed..it should also be marked on that piece as well...its gonna be tiny...no knockoff is gonna have the means to stamp that small..hope this helps you out!! Best of luck!

From the research I've been able to do many items stamped 14k Italy or 585 are not solid gold but gold plated or filled. "She" didn't get it tested because "She" had a heart attack and had two "real" titanium stents placed in her right coronary artery. I have not garnered enough strength to get out to have it tested. I am not a jeweler nor have I ever tried to deceive anyone. I just listed an item I have had in my jewelry box for many years. It is described exactly how I stated in the description area. It is still a pretty bracelet but I cannot close the clasp myself anymore because I have arthritis. At this point whoever wins this item, please just ask for a refund of your credits. I have listed many items on Listia and I have never received any negative feedback or comments and I would like this to be my last.

Thank you for the suggestion. The clasp sticks to the magnet but the chain itself does NOT stick to the magnet.
