I am still watching this auction it is possible I may need one of theese my cockatiels are mating and the female layed 8 eggs but they quit setting on them so I took them out! I know she will lay again!! so definitely keeping an eye on this

yes she is over laying meaning they were not firtile, they will only keep sitting on them if they are firtile. Plus youd need to leave them with the parents for feeding til they are around 21 days old when they are fully feathered before you should try hand feeding them if you have never done it before. {:O) I just got 2 cockatiel myself but im an expert in the genetics of their mutations and colors. So if i breed mine i breed for color and mutation {:O)

How old do they have to be before u can start breeding them?

8 months and up but its best to wait til they are a yr old. I think the ones I have are between 4 and 6 months old.
