It's been brought to my attention that there are some nasty, dodgy people who will try to auction off used cosmetics/ perfumes/ lotions/ toiletries on Listia. Let me state, for the record: EWW!!!! That is totally gross and nasty, and SERIOUSLY UNHYGIENIC!!

Any and all cosmetics, lotions, moisturizers, perfumes, or other samples I list are completely unused, and come directly from Macy's Department Store, unless otherwise stated in the listing! My mother in law has worked at Macy's Cosmetics and Perfume/Cologne counters for the past 20 years. She very generously gives me any extra unused/unopened samples for me to list on here, for all of you!

So, you're guaranteed to get safe, secure, authentic, quality, brand new samples when you order from me! I will never, EVER EVER list used cosmetics, perfumes, lotions or other personal products!

Apology accepted, and I agree, there is no rhyme or reason for any of the things that go on with the auctions here...if someone were to study it I'm sure it would be all over the place. As far as the comments, I get some real doozies, too, and from past experience beauty products attract the "best" of them, lol. Now, credits, that is insane....just recently Listia is asking some (I am on the list) who wish to "sell" credits...the ratio suggested for selling is 200 credits at 6,050 per dollar and a net of 26.45 after fees. I'm no mathematician but wow, that's incredible...think about that and do the math.
Oh, and congrats on quitting smoking, best thing you can do for yourself, I quit New Year's Day 1997 and never looked back...wish I had done it sooner...best of health and prosperity to you in the New year...no hard feelings! :)))

Is the top sealed?

No. None of Clinique's sample tubes are ever hermetically sealed. However, as the pictures show, this tube has never once been used- hence how clean it is, how it's in pristine, brand new, perfect condition, and how there's absolutely no product in any of the crevices in and or around the lid.

No, I certainly didn't mean to upset you...I've won other auctions that were samples and they were sealed, but I'm no expert in this field so defer to you...no harm was intended. Sorry you were so insulted by my question as to say what you said to me. I was genuinely interested in the product and couldn't see by the photo if it was sealed or not, thus, my question. Sorry I asked.

I sincerely apologize!! I very recently quit smoking, and I'm still in the phase where the slightest little thing sets me off, so, please accept my apology, as you did not deserve my temper tantrum.

I got upset because it seems like the last few auctions I hosted were met with questions about the newness of the products, despite my best efforts to show clear, precise pictures of the condition of he item/packaging... It upset me because I've seen quite a few auctions where the one single pic is so blurry and or dark that you can barely tell what the product is, let alone the condition, and it's got some insane amount of credits on it, but the only comments are: "great auction!" and "oh I hope I win!"..... I just don't understand it!

However, even with that being said, you still did not deserve for me to get so defensive and aggressive with you, and for that, I am truly sorry!
