Chit Chat pants and shirt combination. The pants are adjustable waist, but only one side has the button and elastic. Otherwise in very good condition. Shirt top matches the bottom fabric of the pants. GIrl's size 6.

are the pants long or capris?

The inseam just to the blue jean part is 14 inches, add the extra fabric and the inseam is nearly 18 inches. They were not capris on my daughter who is 7. I believe they are meant to be pants and not capris, especially given the inseam sizes. I hope that helps. Angie

Do the have a stretchy or elastic waist?

The pants have an adjustable waist except the button and elastic is missing on one side. My thin daughter was still able to wear them until the pants became too short.
