That looks like a lab grown Blue Topaz. Lab grown stones are often misconstrued as fake because of their clarity. Real earth grown stones are clouded and have to be cut to get rid of a lot of the cloudiness that occurred naturally. With lab grown the impurities are taken out so the stone does not cloud therefore making a clearer and more pure stone. It's a beautiful piece I'm sad it's too small for my finger.
