The listing, Tiger Eye Beaded Necklace & Earrings has ended.

I made this 23 inch necklace and matching pair of leverback earrings using these 5x8mm abacus shaped tiger eye beads. I put them on the eyelet wires, looped the end with round nose pliers, and then connected those links to one another using bent nose pliers. I used a lobster clasp and ring for the closure because that arrangement provides the ease of use and visual appeal that I look for in well designed jewelry. The earrings are the leverback style which will prevent them from wiggling out of your earlobes. Tiger's eye is great for providing protection and concentration to the wearer. This is a nice heavy necklace and beautiful pair of matching earrings.

Sorry I think it is just base metal. Those gold plated findings are all pretty expensive. I wouldn't be able to post anything like that here. I am just starting to develop my ability so when I get more of a budget I will try to list some pieces made from gold plated and silver plated findings on my Etsy shop. Sorry I don't have a better answer for you but I would hate to be the bearer of less than favorable things for you.

I am thinking of these as a gift and the person is real sensitive to base metals, at least in their ears or on the back of the neck, so can I hope these are at least plated ?

Im sorry they are the cheapest materials I could afford. I really thought they were nice, I didn't know about the higher grade findings. It seems like it would be slightly expensive to make a whole jewelry set with them. I have only just begun to develop my skill in jewelry making so it was better for me to work with the cheaper base metal findings. You help me to realize now how important it is to use better materials because, exactly that, some people can be more sensitive to it. Thanks for looking and asking.........

No no.. its better to know, than buy such a lovely thing, give it to someone and it sits in a box, as they cannot wear it.. much better it goes to someone who can and will wear them..

A suggestion, next time, make the clasp and in particular the ear posts or hooks since those go IN the ear, at least plated, which is not that much more to buy.. so that those with sensitive skin can wear it, the rest all done that way.. yeah would be too costly.. but for the chain sector its not really needed .. as its what I look for.. the hooks, posts or clasps.. extender chains etc. .just a thought but yes.. just wonderful work.. used to craft myself, so know the time and effort it took
