This knife is completely handmade from the blade to the handle and the display mount!!! Very intricate work! Does not close! This is not intended for use as a weapon!! Much to small for that!! It is a collectors item and is one of a kind!! Made for me by a friend of mine!!

hi, can you provide a picture of the knife completely open alongside a ruler to verify blade length.. (you measure on the blade from the edge of the hilt (handle) to the tip of the blade... ty

It does not close!! It is just a very small handmade knife! I was made for me by a friend of mine!! It is not intended nor would it do any good if it were to be used as a weapon!!

So what is the blade made of ? and do you know what kind of wood the handle is made of? i can see the point on the blade, but is it sharp? what kind of wood is the display mount made of ?

Not sure what kind of metal the blade is made of but it is very sharp and can be sharped more!! I think the handle is overlayed with mother of pearl but not sure what wood is under it! I am not sure what kind of wood the display mount is made of either, I'm thinking maybe Cherry! Don't really know a lot about it!! It was a gift made by a friend! Thanks for looking!!
