I've been using several recipes from this cookbook for years, and it still remains my favorite baking cookbook and one of my favorite overall cookbooks. The apple pie that I've made using the recipe that I found in this cookbook is one of my favorite desserts, and I have managed to impress many of my friends with it. All the recipes are very clear and they are supported with many informative pictures. Book's large format is a great help in the kitchen, as it is easy to follow the directions directly while in the process of cooking. I only wish that instructions in this book were a bit more detailed at times. This may not be the book that you want to learn how to bake from, although if you are willing to experiment at first and are not afraid of failures it just may be the right kind of cookbook even for the absolute beginners.

There is one recipe called melt in the middles...looks good like a sandwich cookie :)

Well then I hope yo uget it, its a good book. I made like three things out of it. However, I dont have a very good overn, so its for someone with the baking touch :)

Oh, darn, sorry about the flood. I just got this book and my sister in law wanted one too, I was all set to bid my heart out for her.
