HI Justin yes you are right the outer thread on a skirt means ego and the inside thread is for the 510 but most of the newer ones don't know that and us older ones do and most people associate these type tanks with the ego and evods that are ego and 510 thread as more starter type tanks like the mini protank. but also if you want to talk thread both the outer and inside threads are both 510 threading just 2 different sizes if you go with bolt and nuts thread that sets the industry for thread size. also they do make adapters that can be put on all the 510/ego pens or mods to make them fit if you want to. thanks ZANE

HI J these are a good tank but not a good match for your cool fire these are designed for basically ego/evod 3.7v to 5.0v and not for 8.5 watts of power you need to stick with the iclear 30B they were designed for that or it was designed for them or get a 30s and try it. also after you and I talked a friend on mine has one also but he uses a smok pvcv2 on his and told me it works better than is 30b did. so you might want to check that out. thanks ZANE
