yes it is, it doesnt say what kind of needle craft it is , but a needle comes with it thats all I know.

From your second photo, it looks to be a crewel needlepoint. This type of needlepoint doesn't seem popular anymore but I absolutely love it. Thanks for listing it!

I crochet and knit and loom I have tatted with a needle, but havent tatted with a shuttle for tatting yet thats what I do mainly. but my mom does alot of cross stitch.
