This auction is for the 1803 U.S. Draped Bust Large Cent.
This coin is well circulated and has been around for 212 Years. Since the date is worn to the point that only the top half can be seen, and the fraction on the reverse can not be seen, there is no telling if this coin has the small date, large date, small fraction or large fraction. I would love to be able to tell you it is the Large Date with the Small Fraction, but there is no telling.
The scans above are of the actual item that you will receive, and are provided for you to determine the condition and/or grade of it.
I never clean or alter coins in any way, and do my best to allow you to see every detail and/or every blemish that the coins I list have, so that you can make an informed and confident bid.

Most of you know that I have been adding a rider to all of my auctions, stating that the post office is no longer reliable enough to get anything delivered in a timely manner and I wish that this was not necessary.
Now that the holidays are over with, hopefully the Post Office will get their act together and delivery times will again be acceptable. Just let it be known that all items will be sent the next available day after end of auction, for I actually go to the Post Office and pay for the Package and Tracking in person so that you will receive your item as soon as possible. I also check all Tracking numbers daily and will keep you informed of anything that is out of the ordinary.
