do you know you can get a discount on shipping fees if you buy it at PayPal or USPS websites. Buying insurance is for your protection as you are responsible for it arriving safely. If it arrives broken they can put in a claim to get there credits back.

How can I be responsible for it arriving safely when I'm not the one delivering it? USPS is responsible for it arriving safely. Which is why insurance exists so that if it does not THEY make a payout bc THEY are responsible. I'm responsible for sending an item as described in the listing. Once again another misinformed Listian. It seems you're not interested in the item so please, move along.

Hello,
Thank you for being willing to upload another image of this amazing phone powered on showing current date? ( this evening would be just fine!) This would be greatly appreciated and would really help with the bids as well.
Thanks in advance.

bessiedyer5 I see where you may be confused. There are two types of resetting: there's an iTunes reset and a factory reset. Resetting an iPhone via iTunes will not remove passwords. In fact when you restart a phone it will ask for iTunes or iCloud password. But with a factory reset which is done from the settings, iTunes and iCloud accounts are restored and old accounts removed. This is the meaning of a factory reset. For the last time this phone is factory reset.

No someone that doesn't get it resetting to original factory settings does not remove the iCloud or the other password accounts. You can't even upgrade your phone unless the iTunes account password and account has been removed. Look I have been cheated so many times on Listia that I have learned a lot. I have never had or seen a Mobie so I didn"t know that was the charger she was talking about. I am a very interested buyer because I did buy the majority of my credits. I just got scammed by a person wanting money and didn't think there was anything worth 1,300.000 credits. So I am definitely watching and can bid. Now will you please if and only if it is true that the iCloud and iTunes are unlocked and removed from this device. I just do not want to tie my credits up for two more weeks. Can't you see my point of view!!!!!!

Original
bessiedyer5 I'm not sure where you are getting your info from but that is ABSOLUTELY FALSE. Resetting a phone to factory settings removes all passwords. How are you able to post a message from your computer but not even willing to put in the work by simply googling. I do not want you to bid on my item bc you are grossly misinformed and I can only see trading with you to be a disaster. Thank you but no thanks.

for those asking for a low ball GIN, let's do the math:

today's credit = 7200/US$1 (source Listia 01/13/16 "Buy Credits")
average price of a used iPhone 5 64 GB = $250-$300 (source ebay)
average price of a used Mophie Juice Pack = $40 (source ebay)

do the math...
$260 + $40 = $300 x 7200 credits = 2,160,000 credits...

based on the seller saying this is a 7.5/10 condition:
2,160,000 x .75 = 1,620,000 credits...

If she send it with tracking which is free with any First Class shipping then it covers getting it to you. If you and she decides on insurance then one or the other will have to pay for it. Insurance only covers for damages incurred with shipping. She is responsible only for the condition she described in the listing and making sure she packed it well to prevent damage.

Is the sim card included and can this be used as an ipod even though it is a phone
Jan 12th, 2016 at 10:47:47 AM PST by

I do have my old sim, but I wouldn't want to send it as it may have some imprints of my personal info (i don't know if this is a fact but I rather be safe than sorry) So no, sim is not included. And yes I believe you can use an iPhone as iPod.

I still don't understand why you just won't say the words all passwords cleared for all programs such as iCloud and iTunes . I could give you a very large amount of credits though I prefer. 5s this could be your lucky day. Not pestering you. I just need the information.

The phone has been reset to its original factory setting. How's that
Jan 10th, 2016 at 3:18:07 PM PST by
Original
hi again... there's a lot of comments regarding who-what-how when resetting an iPhone... here's my experience, what is on Google and from Apple's website:

when resetting a iPhone and there "IS" a iCloud/find my iPhone password on it, the iPhone won't allow you to reset it until the password is removed...

Google links:
http://www.gottabemobile.com/2015/01/25/how-to-reset-an-iphone/

and straight from the Apple:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201351

bottom line: if the seller says she reset the iPhone, the iCloud/find my iPhone password(s) must have been removed prior to resetting the iPhone...

hope this clears this up...

Hi lelouie. You are correct. The thing is, apart of the factory resetting process includes removing those passwords. When I went to factory reset this phone it specifically prompted me to remove said passwords.
Jan 13th, 2016 at 10:40:26 AM PST by
Original
@deardeleta: yes we are both saying the same thing... a iPhone can't be reset until the password(s) is/are removed and you will be prompt to remove said password(s) prior the resetting the iPhone...

BTW: i'm from Newark (hi neighbor) and after graduating from NJIT w/ an engineering degree moved to the Silicon Valley...
