Description

The listing, New-Equus 3030 Innova Diagnostic OBDII Code Reader-Find Out What's Worng w/ Your Car-Free US Ship has ended.

This is a new just purchased unopened package of the Equus 3030 OBD2 diagnostic reader. All cars sold in the US from 1996 on have a port, usually under the steering wheel. If you get a check engine light you can plug this in and get a code and then look up the code to find out what's wrong with your car. Pretty cool.

Great Christmas gift! Should arrive before Christmas via Priority Mail from me. Free US shipping.

Yeah, it's it's the OBD II port and it's hidden sometimes behind a pop out plastic panel. What year is your Civic and I'll try to find out exactly where it is?

Hi,
You said cars, in the US?? Would it work for a Land Rover Discovery? Those idiot/dummy lights that stay on, even when it had been serviced!!?? Thanks

Yes, as long as you bought the car in the US, it's require for cars from 1996 on. Not sure if you particular problem would be resolved, since the serviceman use the same system I think to figure out what's wrong with the car, but it may be worth a shot.

It's a 1997 Civic (lol)... Googled it and it should be under my dashboard by the fuse-box but I can't seem to find it...

Awesome auction... I'd love to bid if my car had this port...

Apparently Honda calls it the "DLC" or "Data Link Connector. It's supposed to be "under your steering by your hood release, besdie your fusebox, closer to the fender of the car."

Try looking at the photo here, it's to the right and above the hood release aimed down at the floor apparently and behind the plastic panel on top of the hood release: http://tinyurl.com/hondaobdIIB.

Hey man do you think this is it...

If so, I think I've found it on a Lexus IS250 but still no luck with the Civic...

Sorry about all these questions... I really appreciate the replies.

Yup, I think that's it. If you can't find it, ask your Honda technician to show where it is. Any garage technician should be able to show you where it is.
