not sure exactly how well this will hold up for shipping, but this is the skin my snake Jake shed the last time he shed....approximately 41" long. something different anyway :) maybe you have a kid into snakes, or maybe you like snakes yourself but don't want to or can't own one yourself because of the rules of where you live, well now you can own a part of one! Jake is a friendly, beautiful, cuddly cornsnake, but he is definately NOT up for auction! =) Normally his coloring is brighter than this but he is getting ready to shed again soon.

What does he eat? Maybe blue or purple flowers?

usually mice, Jake just had one for lunch today, he was quite hungry, and a nice long drink of water afterwards, and he's now napping.....quite the life, eh?

Interesting- I've seen them shed lots of times. I don't own any myself, but it may be cool to try and incorporate it in to some artwork- sounds farfetched. But then sometimes good ideas are!!

very true :) and you can't see it on the picture, but can see where his eyes and mouth and everything are in the shedded skin as well. i think it's fascinating - given several of his previous sheds to other friends, kept some for myself, so thought i'd offer up this one to other people who don't have the priviledge of owning such an enchanting creature. LOL, i'm a big time animal lover though, so I always feel a little sorry for his food, but he needs to eat too, and at least he doesn't play with his food like some other animals do. have too many pets, but don't know if i can handle the idea of giving any of them up right now LOL

I am surprised this is getting bids...gunna give my mom a call and see if she has any of her snakes' sheds still...she had to get rid of her snake about 2 months ago..It was just getting way to big...she gave it to a friend who had better means for it...Last measure it was 6 and a half feet.

to be honest, i was a little suprised it got up as high as it did too, it was just something different i'd never seen anything on here like it so i thought i'd give it a shot :) sorry i never got back to you any sooner but ended up having to go out of town for 2 days so haven't been around to answer anyone
