Up for consideration is a two volume set of books published in 1906 about Christopher Columbus. They are titled Christopher Columbus and the New World of His Discovery, A Narrative by Filson Young. These books are still being printed today and are highly regarded as a historical reference. There are a number of illustrations and pull-out maps in both volumes. The books are in very good condition but the covers have some soiling and fading (especially the spines), and there is some age toning to the pages. And a bit of that "old book" musty smell (not too bad). They are impressive looking books and would look nice on a bookshelf.
