When the two pairs are put together they measure 5" x 3-1/4" The thickness measures 1/16" thick. I think they would be great for little hands. The puzzle game is from Discovery Toys but does not have an age on the box. On the puzzle pieces there are pictures and words, so I think if your little one is recognizing things like dog, cat, bunny, etc. the game would be perfect.
