Small Animal Feeding, Med Dosing, Insecticide Dosing, Something U Did Not Know U Needed!
On the side are 4 dose guidelines — which you can pull up liquid to meet to know if you are dosing at 1ml, .75ml, .50ml, or .25ml (you can dose in-between those lines or above those lines (up to 1ml) of course as well).
The bulb will hold about 3ml but you can only visually meter a little more than 1ml. If it is a situation where you are giving water to a bird — you can “fill the bulb” & then transport to the bird & push out multiple times to take full advantage of the 3ml. holding volume. The meds & supplements I have needed to dose all fell within the range of 1ml or less so I’ve never needed anything different. If need over 1ml use more than one.
I have a giant bag of these that I thought I’d use quicker than I actually have needed to.
These are more durable that I thought, & I actually wash & re-use frequently unless I am dealing with something messy or poisonous, then they are so cheap not a big deal to throw away & get another next time.
I tried to get photos of the dose markings — but very hard to see w camera (your eye does pick up the markings as they are etched higher than the tube & refract the light to your eye) also probably helps to have younger eyes :)..
I have used…
--To take small dabs of paint to do a touch up, just throw away the mess after the touch up.
--To dose precise amounts of flea immunizations for our dogs (yes you can do it yourself & save $1000’s of $$ over several yrs — that’s another story)…
--When little animals were sick & they needed small amounts of water or sustenance. I have little feeding droppers — but these are longer & more flexible & not as cold or difficult as the bigger glass droppers.
--To pick up small screw parts that have fallen into a component.
