I have always thought Halle Berry was a wonderful actress but I have to say I was more impressed with this film than many others. Why? U may ask. Well, this was a very complex eccentric, almost, character. The script was very untraditional and it required her to be very much in tune with the message Zora N. H. was trying to convey. This is one of the best literary works of our history, and to put it to film was a very brave and bold thing for Oprah (and Halle) to tackle. I think all of the actors were very awesome in bringing this story to life and I commend them. The film kept my attention and again, I was thoroughly impressed with Halle and all of the actors potrayal of these timeless characters.
