Winner of this auction gets **Trusted Seller** support to be Crocheting by Christmas.

THIS IS HOW I LEARNED ON MY GRANDMOTHER'S CROCHET HOOKS- EXACTLY! Library books & pictures explaining with detail taught me in less than a month on the last two hooks that belonged to her. You will be able to make Christmas Gifts this year!

NOT a Service-- actual pictures, stitch explanations, and basic crochet instructions will be emailed to you for your printing pleasure!

You will::
* KNOW how to bring your hook to the store and pick the right yarn for it!
* Learn how to turn at the end of the rows without losing stitches or crushing the first stitch.
* Receive links to locations that will allow you to socialize about your cool new hobby!
+ SO MUCH MORE- including how to ship Snowflake Ornaments to distant Family for This Coming Christmas!

Learn from items delivered to your hot little inbox as PDFs or series of Emails with or without attachments.
Please tell me any Crochet skill or technique you wish to master that have been irking you-- will find resources and specialize your packet to moving past these roadblocks!

This packet already contains Illustrated American/US style-
Slip Knot | Chain | Single Crochet | Half Double Crochet | Double Crochet | Treble Crochet | Double Trebles | Crab stitch/ Reverse Single Crochet | <<< illustrated as crocheted into rows and chains!

As well as specialty Tunisian & BroomStick Crochet!

If you wish to GIN- let me know, I can place an auction with the minimal GIN.

~~PLEASE~~ ASK Questions!

Have some patience! I am starting a co-op to help keep women off the streets and have a lot of message traffic ongoing. However, I will also be giving you my Instant Messenger and online community contact info. You will be able to reach me easily. I also nurse a needy three month old-- I have discovered a mouse is much more difficult to operate around her than the trackball which died recently. -.-

Aww shucks, I appreciate the show of support it gets me past the hubbie's nervousness to try this. I think it will work however. People need only a bit past covering food to really call things well set. Even $300 would make a difference to the kind of people I hear from; like a family that only needed that to get a place with all of them under the same roof!

Just amazing here and half the time I am in shock over things.

which specific ones?
I can make a smaller auction for you if you would like with a specially configured for you packet.

Willing to call 75 credits acceptable if you need minimal help and 95 if you need something I do not have scanned yet.

I would love to learn as many as I can. Right now I have a doozy of a time making straight lines. I am watching this one and your auctions. Thank you for responding.

Straight lines?-- it is normal for rows of single crochet to curl up at the edges... only blocking and/or starching can prevent that. the chain it self is VERY hard to accomplish.I have seen eager students reduced to taking Valium over it!

Realize that you need to twist your hook to catch the yarn and then allow that turn to carry through and help keep from catching on the working hoop. Also, you might want to start out gripping your yarn and hook in matching OK hand signs-- this is a way to simplify how you hold things and your other fingers will simply fall in line and help out as you figure things out!

(Did that help? I am really unaware what would be called a straight line in crochet- where generally one is creating a fabric from interlocking loops.)

that is helpful, I should have said, straight edges! That is how new I am with crocheting. I make scarves and desperately trying to move on to other items. I can make a killer long scarf as long as the stitches are going in the length direction, the horizontal forget the straight edging, I have marked with markers and all, frustration center. Thank you for your help , God Bless you,
Theresa

you need to chain at least once when changing rows.. chain 1 then turn and make sure you stitching the same first stitch. It is VERY common for people to have trouble marking where stitches are correctly until they get more time under their belt. It takes a while to learn stitches correctly.

Is this going to be mailed or is it an attachment to an email that we are bidding on? I am thinking about my daughter for this & I'd like to thumb through it also.

I can send two copies/two emails at that rate. These are attachments right now since I cannot mail anything without the stamps that are hiding from me >.< We moved here April 2nd and most of our things went into storage.

Not a problem. I can print it out & mail it to her, she doesn't have a printer & at the moment no internet. I think this would be great for her. I would only need 1 email with the attachment. We just moved here in Aug. & I am still unpacking & trying to find things.

Sounds like a plan!

And my goodness what Does get unpacked? Recently, a bag was brought home randomly, and I found a 6mth onesie, a 1 yr old Nike tee, and a crib rail padding. Definitely not the stored nursing underthings I Asked for! None of which will actually really fit anyone or things we can use here! We only have a rail-less sidecar crib.

Friends do not make professional packers. *facepalm* I'm never letting people race to pack things in storage again.
