The listing, LOT 22 pcs.crochet Vintage linens motifs doilies has ended.

These are some of the "motifs" that my mom and grandmothers crocheted over the years as well as 2 doilies that contain "motifs" which are tiny doilies but are meant to be sewn together into larger items (info given to me by Sirah here on Lisita....thx Sirah)

This is the just one of MANY of my VINTAGE LINEN AUCTIONS. I have 100's of pieces to offer in the future so tell your friends who might collect these items :) Give them as gifts, make your own craft projects (pillows,bears,purses, out of them, etc.

*****HINT**** People in nursing or assisted living facilities **LOVE** to get these as gifts. They bring back such sweet memories for them :) :)

You get everything in the photo EXCEPT the "PROPS" (Framed pictures,basket, pink spread,pearls,ceramic jewelry hanger) If you have a question feel free to ask.

GUESS WHAT!! I went to visit my Aunt this past weekend and just before I got ready to elave she made me close my eyes and hold out my arms. Yes, I was a bit curious too :) All of a sudden I felt this heavy weight and KNEW what it was!!! She gave me a family heirloom handmade QUILT from the early 1800's that was made by my GREAT-GREAT grandmother, Almedia :) I felt SOOOO priviledged and blessed!!! It is beautiful and the stiches are so teeny and meticulously sewn. The BACK of the quilt is just as lovely as the front because of all the precious handwork! COLOR ME HAPPPPPPPY!!!!

I'm thrilled you made the auction and sorry I haven't the credits for it right now! I managed to do rather well finding items for my women's Co-op to help keep families paying rent.

It does look like you have a lot of Irish Rose motifs in this lot. Amazing! wonderful craftsmanship so glad to see it all together!

I have an Irish lace rose without the hole in the center as my main pattern item... so it's so neat to see the connection to history!

Right now, I am looking for a punch needle set, muslin, and pinking shears to help out. Maybe one day my group will be able to get hands on a serger/overlock machine-- but, small steps first.

I got the idea from recently meeting a woman who was tossed out by a sister and her art and craft supplies for making cigar box purses were sold before she could claim them from her storage. By simply giving her some of my unused Acrylic craft paints I enabled her to make up rent shortages and plan to restart selling purses. She is in contact with her mom to make contact with her old cigar seller's and get boxes at better prices than Las Vegas vendors have been willing to sell them to her. With good magazine images and a new set of wood carving detail tools she should be set. (I think her mom has some things like purse fittings and some small items forgotten in the move out to help the sister.)

I deliver MEALS-ON-WHEELS and I have a very special 100 yr.old lady who is legally blind and cannot see to read anymore. Her days are long just and this would help pass the time :) PLEASE email me if you list anything or have anything you'd like to donate.
