Questions & Comments
Also, take the photos from far enough away that your camera can get them in focus (usually six to 10 inches, and use your macro setting if you have one). Then I edit them using simple photo software. I use HP Photosmart, which is a free download. It's a little frustrating to learn but once you do, you can edit photos in minutes. I crop mine in really close, and can adjust the color and contrast if needed to really make them pop.
nice listing. I like the retro look with the hanging pots. I hope that it comes back into vougue. Fanned, watching and bidding. Good luck to you. And to me, lol. :-)
Another super listing, this is really nice Joan. Since you don't have bids yet perhaps you can add more info ... how many beads, are they wood, plastic, etc? And perhaps give more info on the actual colors.
I hope you don't mind even more unasked advice ... try taking your photos on a white background with NO flash. I use a little desk lamp that has a natural daylight color bulb ... mine are actually fluorescent craft lamps but you can also use bulbs such as Reveal and other brands they sell in the supermarket. I move the lamp around to change the light and shadow to show details of the beads. It really helps you get better photos, which helps tremendously with bids.
Is this very rough yarn? As in tough on the hands?
I AM looking for some hardy cord/yarn to teach crochet with and I have been looking for large bore beads to crochet through. I am also looking forward to some macrame booklets coming soon. So no matter the answer I still am interested--- I just need to know if I will need to use gardner's gloves with it as i have overly dry skin.
And I already think the off-color is due to the lighting but let me know.
