This is my first listing so my pics are backwards....sorry....I will send complete instructions on how to plant your seeds...These sago plants run about $25.00 to $50.00 per plant so if you can be patient and watch your baby grow then it's absolutely free....They are beautiful plants! The picture of the female, she is 10 years old and over 6 ft. tall....

It will take about 1 to 2 months depending on the circumstances and climate. This is a link to a webpage that will explain the entire process when you receive them. NOTE: The orange peeling that needs to be removed is HIGHLY Toxic so please dispose of them so dogs and children can't ahold of. http://www.gardenguides.com/96579-plant-sago-palm-seeds.html

These are VERY SLOW growing plants...Mine is now 10 years old and this is her first reproduction. These plants are actually male and female plants and a female can't reproduce without a male. It's really interesting information if you want to google them and read about it.

of the 3 seeds, how many of them are likely to sprout? And I hate to ask this but, if none of them sprout would you send another 1 or 2?

Ellen, when the seeds are removed from the tree, they are placed in water. If they float to the top then they are most likely not fertile and will not sprout so I will not send those. BUT yes, to your question....As a matter of fact, I will send 5 just to make sure that you will get a definate sprout. Marcy, yes, for the first couple of years they will do fine in the house. They have to stay potted for the first two years in the same pot anyways. As I said, they are VERY SLOW growing trees. I had to wait 10 years now for the female to even seed.. Good luck all and I WILL send 5 seeds to the winner...Turns out I got almost 90 from the mom so I have my hands full!!
