The listing, Mammoth Russian Sunflower Seeds has ended.

Mammoth Russian Sunflowers have tall stocks with huge flowers. It blooms mid to late summer. This makes a beautiful flower arrangement for the home. The seeds can be eaten or used as bird feed. Sunflowers can even be eaten as sprouts. I will send 20 seeds.

Are these the ones that can grow to 12 Ft? One head on each stalk? Thank you.

Yes they get very high. They can get more heads but lop them off. The stalk cannot hold many massive heads. Sometimes if there are multiple heads, they won't get as huge. Never allow more then 2 for these reasons.

When is the right planting season? Which zone? Full sun or shade?
The kids would love watching something grow taller than them from a seed!!! :)

Planting is according to which zone you are in. It's warmer here so I plant in April. I try to avoid high winds that beat baby plants to death. You plant them in full sun. These grow in most zones. Sunflowers are very hardy plants. Water them well if you want them tall. They will get as tall as the house.

They are a showstopper for sure. I planted them in front of the house. people literally stopped to come into my yard to take pictures. A lady knocked on my door to ask if she could take pics for her amateur photo contest she was entering lol. They put out alot of sunflower seeds and the birds love them too.
