How did a Michigan guy end up with a USC car magnet? Y'all sure are lucky to have Jim Harbough, and San Fran's GM, Owner & HC are reaping that which they sewed. Having said that, Harbough made a grave mistake in coaching Alex Smith up, and well, helping him grow into his elite QB potential, only to bench him in favor of a new, young dual threat QB. I love Kaepernick and now I'm ticked; and not just because Bruce Ellington graduated from USC. Dylan Thompson is the 9er's 3rd string QB. He threw for the most passing yards in our history (not remotely storied), playing behind Conner Shaw (Cleveland Browns - God help him) until his Senior year last year. He did play the entire Clemson game at Clemson in 2013 and won our 5th straight, when Shaw was out with an injury. Also threw the winning TD pass to Ellington in the
the Capital One bowl game in 2013 - oh against y'all. Just remembered that was game in which the officials blew the worst call I've ever seen, save Michael Irving's TD/ruled no TD catch in the playoffs last season. On the very next play I can hear Jon Gruden's commentary. I most definitely am not being mean spirited. I love football and if the roles were reversed, I would appreciate an exceptional football sequence of events and football play, as well as the most exciting bowl game I've seen, minus the TCU bowl game this year!
