This Olympus digital camera was bought at Best Buy as a problem-free open box item back in late 2005. Lightly used (aka very well taken care of), this camera is whole, fully functional, no none issues, lens is free from scratches and I dont see any scratches on the LCD screen either. I think the internal memory holds about 10 pictures on the biggest picture setting. The 12th picture I took as a demo picture so when you get the camera you can put the memory card into your computer (or with the USB card adapter) to see the picture & the quality. The 13th picture where it shows 818 is the 1GB card at the highest picture setting. More pictures will fit on the lower settings. The black Olympus case has spots to hold 2 XD memory cards. I'll let the pictures tell you about the camera. If you need further info, please comment below and I'll do my best to answer them.

I purchased a Kodak Easyshare a couple of years ago and this one's been sitting in its box since. Wanted to keep it as a backup just incase but if I havent needed any use out of it by now, I probably never will. My cell phone has an 8MP camera so I almost dont need my Kodak but I will keep that because I have the printer dock to print pictures with that. Think I will pass on my first digital camera on to someone else who needs a camera. I'll never forget that feeling when I walked out of Best Buy with my first camera. Its nothing fancy but if you just need any camera to get you buy til you get yours fixed or get a new one or if you want your first beginner camera, THEN THIS IS THE CAMERA FOR YOU!

Tyvm I fanned u back. I kept thinkin if those other cameras were selling good, why not try mine. It was my first camera. Hardly used it when I wanted a newer model with more pixels so I pieced together a Kodak and this has been sittin in its box ever since. Thanks for looking and good luck to all.

Perfect for 16 yr old....he has been asking for his own camera for a while now, his cell phone is only like 1.2 mp or something. He wants one like my camera that is a nikon and 12.1 mp, but not ready to spend that much on a camera for him at this point. Anyway, watching this.

yes this would be a great starter camera for a 16y/o. then when he gets older and if hes still into taking pictures or get into photography, then a bigger more powerful camera like ur nikon would be very ideal. i have my kodak 8mp easyshare that i use every now and then (which goes with my photo printer) and my cell phone that has an 8mp camera but later on i do want a nice slr camera. my dad has a kodak z1211 easyshare or something along that line. its very nice and takes wonderful pictures. thanks for looking and watching. i bet hed get a big kick outta this one. especially if its his first camera. 5mp isnt too much older than the more recent 8mp cameras that were sold in stores not long ago.

ty and fanned back. its easy to use so it should be pretty easy for ur son to figure out. not sure how old he is. even if someone loves electronics, who actually likes really complicated stuff that u cant figure out how to work. this would be a great beginner camera. its not a high dollar camera so it would be great for a child as well. plus, who could beat a free price?! thanks for looking.
