my chevy impala runs at 32 pounds but my jeep runs at 44 pounds. how are these gonna tell the difference if i switch between cars?

These are cool. I have used them before. For those that were asking how they know the difference between pressure settings it is simple. When you install them, you first fill your tire to the correct pressure. You then install the valve cap, it will set whatever p.s.i. your tire is at as the ideal pressure and therefore be able to properly indicate the current tire pressure. Hope that helps, fanned and watching.
